Sims Recycling Solutions Becomes a Member of the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA)

With Security concerns on the rise and an estimated $30 billion in losses each year in cargo thefts (according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation) it is time for companies to search for ways to increase their security standards.

West Chicago, IL, July 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sims Recycling Solutions, the world’s largest electronics recycler has become a member of the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA). TAPA is an international Association that implements security standards for logistics pipelines in an effort to fight against cargo crime. Members of TAPA work together and share information to prevent thefts, develop supply chain security standards, and work with government agencies.
