AXIGEN Releases ISP Edition with Clustering Support
At the end of an extensive beta testing campaign, AXIGEN (http://www.axigen.com), the professional messaging solution vendor announced today the commercial release of its ISP-dedicated version, AXIGEN 3.0 ISP Edition.
Bucharest, Romania, March 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- As this is a product destined primarily for very demanding customers, be they Internet Service Providers (ISP), Application Service Providers ASP) or Hosting Service Providers (HSP), AXIGEN ISP Edition includes, among other, clustering support and LDAP integration.
Apart from these advanced technical features, AXIGEN 3.0 ISP Edition brings about other novelties, such as an innovative licensing scheme, which now offers the option to select an unlimited number of servers at the same location.
“We believe that the new licensing scheme will be beneficial for all system administrators who wish to install mail servers in highly complex configurations, to undertake backup or mirroring operations, or even to test various other possible scenarios,” stated Oana Bornaz, AXIGEN CEO.
As in the past, future versions of the AXIGEN ISP Edition will continue to be improved based on customer requests and feedback, the new licensing scheme being a relevant example in this regard. “The opportunity to purchase for instance an ISP Edition OpenSite License, which allows the customer to have an unlimited number of mailboxes, domains and servers in the same location, perfectly suits the business model of ISPs, ASPs and HSPs all over the world,” added Oana Bornaz.
With the commercial release of version 3.0, educational institutions will benefit from an increased discount of up to 40% of the standard license price. This is the direct result of the company’s recently developed policy to stimulate the institutions’ interest in the growing need for security when it comes to communications, by using powerful products which are back up by quality technical support.
