Volunteers Needed to Help with 15th Anniversary Boston Arthritis Walk

Boston, MA, July 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Arthritis Foundation is looking for volunteers to help plan and coordinate the 15th Anniversary Boston Arthritis Walk to be held at the DCR’s Artesani Park in Brighton, on Sunday, September, 18, 2011. Help is needed with all planning activities including publicity, recruiting walkers and in kind donations. Help is also needed with running the event on walk day. Both group and individual volunteer opportunities are available.

The Walk will be open to all ages and abilities with a 1 or 3-mile route, however walking is optional. All with arthritis are invited to support this important event which raises funds for arthritis research and community programs. Walk day will include children’s activities, entertainment, food, a health fair and a fun post-walk party.
