Carolina Mudcats to Host Jacksonville Suns in Upcoming Five-Game Homestand
July 26-30 Home Series Will Include Friday Night Fireworks,Pint Glass Giveaway, Other Promotions
Zebulon, NC, July 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Carolina Mudcats (http://www.carolinamudcats.com), Wake County’s hometown professional baseball team, has announced the team’s upcoming five-game home series against the Jacksonville Suns starting Tuesday, July 26 through Saturday, July 30. The Mudcats will play a doubleheader on Tuesday night that will begin at 5:30 p.m. Gates will open at 5 p.m.. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s games all have starting times of 7:15 p.m., and Saturday’s game will start at 6:15 p.m.
The Tuesday, July 26 game will feature KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets. Fans may bring a package wrapper to Five County Stadium and get one ticket free with the purchase of another. Tuesday is also Carolina Packers Dollar Hot Dog night.
The game scheduled for Wednesday, July 27, will offer a 2-for-1 promotion, where fans can buy one box seat ticket and get a second box seat ticket for free with a Food Lion MVP Card. The promotion is presented by Food Lion and is subject to availability.
The Thursday, July 28 game will feature Thirsty Thursday, presented by Natty Greene’s Brewing Company. Fans may purchase 12-ounce Pepsi products for only $1 and 16-ounce domestic drafts for only $2.
Friday is Muddy the Mudcat’s Birthday Party, and his mascot friends will be at the game to celebrate. In lieu of gifts for Muddy, he is asking for donations of school supplies that will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Wake County. By bringing three new school supplies to the game, fans will receive one free general admission ticket. Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Traveler’s Insurance and Moore & Johnson Agency, will follow the completion of the July 29 game.
The N.C. Education Lottery will be at Five County Stadium during the Saturday, July 30 game. They will have lottery prize packs and special games available. Also featured on July 30 is the Pint Glass Giveaway, presented by Budweiser and available to all fans 21 and older.
