Christina Motley Recognized with Two Awards

For her five-year strategic marketing plan for the Danville Regional Foundation, Motley won third place nationally in the internal program communications or campaign category after she claimed the top prize at the Virginia state awards. In the public service/program for public good category, she took home an honorable mention for her work with a community-wide reading of Switch, written by Dan and Chip Heath.
Motley has been a member of the Virginia Press Women since 1990 and is also a recent member of the North Carolina Press Club since moving to Raleigh in January.
