Wine, Women & Chocolate - Culinary Travel Company Announces New Women-Only Tours in France
A small company that conducts specialized gourmet food tours in Paris and in Provence has now created a special tour for women only.
Paris, France, July 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- “Women” says Diane Shaskin, “have more fun traveling together. And food is something that many women are passionate about, including me. So, on my new food tours I've put the two together.”
Shaskin’s company, Paris to Provence Culinary Adventures, offers week-long gourmet tours in Paris and in Provence. And now they've added another tour with a twist – women only.
“I've made our tours easy, invigorating, delicious, and fun,” Shaskin says. “After 15 years, I know Paris and Provence inside and out, and I'm captivated by the food, the flavours, the cooking techniques of France.”
Each tour is limited to eight women to assure a hands-on experience in cooking classes, wine tastings, and behind-the-scenes visits in restaurant kitchens and chocolate ateliers. Dinners are in small bistros owned by well-known French chefs.
Shaskin's company has teamed up with some famous French culinary names to provide a unique experience for its travelers – the kitchens of the Ritz Hotel, Maison Prunier (caviar), Maison de la Truffe (truffles).
“It's a perfect getaway for mothers and daughters, sisters and best friends,” Shaskin adds. “And it's worry free. We meet our guests at the airport and whisk them to their boutique hotel. All they have to do is unpack and enjoy a week of culinary adventuring.”
