J. Dan Kelley, Tierra Dynamic Company's Managing Member, Selected White House Champion of Change
Phoenix, AZ, July 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Tierra Dynamic Company (TDC) is very pleased to announce that their firm’s Managing Member, Mr. J. Dan Kelley, P.E., was recently selected by the White House as a Champion of Change.
“Across the country, ordinary Americans are doing extraordinary things to improve the lives of others and strengthen their communities to out-innovate, out-educate, and out-build the rest of the world,” says Valerie Jarrett, senior advisor to President Barack Obama. The purpose of the Champions of Change initiative is to honor these individuals while creating a forum for sharing ideas about America’s future.
Because small businesses create about two out of every three jobs in the U.S. each year, and roughly half of working Americans either own or work for a small business, the White House chose to honor select small business entrepreneurs who are making a positive impact on their communities. “Mr. Kelley is a Champion of Change on the front lines of strengthening America’s economy while helping our country rise to the many challenges of the 21st century,, said Ms. Jarrett.
Mr. Kelley was honored at the White House in late May, meeting with top Obama administration officials. “I am extremely honored to be selected as a Champion of Change,” says Mr. Kelley. “It has been a wonderful experience that I will never forget.”
