Holiday Inn Melaka Announces New General Manager

Holiday Inn Melaka has a new General Manager to lead the team.

Melaka, Malaysia, July 31, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Holiday Inn Melaka, the award winning hotel in the city is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Alvin Jaiyaseelan as General Manager.

Alvin will be taking over the role from Mr. Christoph Voegeli, who has been the General Manager for the past 3 years. Before joining Holiday Inn Melaka, Alvin was the Hotel Manager for Holiday Inn Potts Point Sydney where he successfully completed the Accelerated General Manager Development Program. Mr. Alvin is one of 3 candidates in Asia/Australia Region selected to participate in the fast track development of high potential operations leaders to General Manager.

Prior to his selection for the accelerated General Manager program, Alvin built his experience and career in IHG Malaysia properties culminating in the position of Resident Manager at Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie, where he made a significant contribution in successfully refreshing the property, an achievement that was subsequently recognized by the Malaysian Tourism Board.

Alvin is married with three delightful children and spends most of his spare time with his family or pursuing his other passions of reading, swimming and rebuilding cars.
