Hattons Solicitors Raise Over £1700 for Charity
Crowds packed into Haydock Park Racecourse to watch an evening of racing, sponsored by Hattons Solicitors, followed by performances by pop sensation the Scissor Sisters. Over £1700 was raised for the Steve Prescott Foundation through bucket collections on the day.
St Helens, United Kingdom, July 31, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Crowds packed into Haydock Park Racecourse to watch an evening of racing, sponsored by Hattons Solicitors, followed by performances by pop sensation the Scissor Sisters.
This is the second year that Hattons have sponsored a race evening at Haydock but this year surpassed last year as the solicitors celebrated their 10th anniversary.
Over ten thousand spectators viewed six races enjoying the electric party atmosphere created by the excitable Scissor Sisters, who blasted out hits such as “Take Your Mama,” “Filthy/Gorgeous,” and “I Don’t Feel Like Dancing.”
Hattons Senior Partner Bruce said, “When I think back to how Hattons started with only three staff, I find it hard to believe how far we’ve come. I’m so thankful to our thousands of loyal clients who we have helped over the years, and how many of them have gone on to recommend us to their family and friends.”
“Today’s race evening was a chance to reward and thank all our staff for their hard work, dedication and loyalty to the firm. Our staff have helped to create a trusted reputation in the North West and the race evening was a chance for everyone to relax and enjoy.”
“I was also pleased to support the Steve Prescott Foundation at the races and I’m delighted that we managed to raise over £1700. We work very closely with this worthwhile charity and through bucket collections, donations and competitions it’s great that we could contribute to the charities ongoing efforts.”
