Lazy Employees, Liars, and Office Ghosts No Match for “THE CYA.” New FirstRun.tv Sitcom Takes Slacking at Work to a Whole New Level.

There are those who lie to their bosses to avoid work - one in three employees according to a recent PwC study. Then there are employees who don't need to slack or lie, because they have been lost in the shuffle and have no job responsibilities at all. They come to work every day with nothing to do. They are "Office Ghosts.

Now take all three of these phenomena – slacking at work, no longer having any job duties, and lying about it all – and you have a new sitcom entitled, “THE CYA,” which airs on the new online network, FirstRun.tv (www.FirstRun.tv).

THE CYA is an ultra-top secret agency - so top secret in fact, the government forgot the agency exists. THE CYA is obsolete, defunct, and useless. Yet the six remaining agents sneak through secret tunnels and stairways to get to their hidden office. Why? Their paychecks keeps coming - it seems the government forgot about that, too. So now slacking, lying and hiding have become their job duties. They have become Office Ghosts to the extreme. Could a situation like this really take place? The series creator, Gary Kleinman, says the sitcom was inspired by true events.
