Max Sports Grille to Host Bad Boy Fight Night Weigh-in on August 4
Scotland’s Bobby Gunn, a former world champion, will fight in the bare knuckle event and will be at Max Sports Grille on August 4 for the weigh-in.
Scottsdale, AZ, August 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Scottsdale’s home for sports fans will also be the home of the August 4 weigh-in for a highly anticipated fight card for Bad Boy Fight Night.
The much-anticipated Bad Boy Fight Night event, which includes boxing, mixed martial arts, and the first bare-knuckle boxing match since 1889, will take place on August 5, at 8 p.m., at Fort McDowell Casino.
Scotland’s Bobby Gunn, a former world champion, will fight in the bare knuckle event and will be at Max Sports Grille on August 4 for the weigh-in.
“To have someone of Gunn’s stature at Max Sports Grille will be a real thrill for our customers and fight fans,” said Kacy Smith, manager of Max Sports Grille. “We’re looking forward to a large crowd to watch the weigh-in.”
The evening will include several boxing and mixed martial arts matches at Fort McDowell Casino’s Hexagon and will feature former IBC International and WBF world champion Bobby “The Celtic Warrior” Gunn in the first bare-knuckle boxing match since 1889.
Max Sports Grille is also an official ticket site for Bad Boy Fight Night. Ringside seating, rows 1-3, sells for $45; reserve seating, row 4, sells for $35; and general admission seats are $25. Tickets are on sale at the Max Sports Grille during regular business hours, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., every day.
