Now Available: SmartTOP Convertible Top Remote and Convenience Module for Infiniti G Convertible
Just in time for the convertible season Mods4cars releases the new SmartTOP convertible top convenience module for Infiniti G convertibles. It adds one-touch operation to the center console switch as well as the ability to use the top while driving slowly. Additionally the top can be raised or lowered from afar with the original factory key fob remote.
Ocean, NJ, August 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The SmartTOP convertible top convenience add-on module by aftermarket electronics specialist Mods4cars is now available to order. Infiniti owners get to enjoy this summer with more convenience and added features in their cars. The signature feature of the kit, one-touch top operation while driving, allows drivers to open and close the top while driving up to 40 km/h (~28 mph) and without the need to pull over and hold down the switch. The instant benefit is more top-down time.
"Our newest product also adds remote control functionality; The top can be opened or closed with the original factory key fob remote," says PR manager Sven Tornow. “Neither is a separate key fob required, nor does the existing one need to be modified or reprogrammed.” He concludes. It is possible to have the doors locked automatically while driving or a choice of 4 different sounds when locking and unlocking the car can be selected. An ongoing top operation can be programmed to continue when the engine is turned on or off and the entire module can be enabled or disabled while retaining all other user preference settings.
Thanks to the standard USB port present on all SmartTOP convertible top modules it is also possible to configure all settings or update the product firmware online via freely available software on the company’s website. The kit comes complete with USB cable and a custom designed, fully plug-and-play wiring harness that makes installation a breeze.
