Compressed Natural Gas offers Environmentally Friendly Fuel Choices for Vehicles
Elkhart, IN, August 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Green Alternative Systems (GAS) has just announced that the company is now offering CNG Conversions to the automotive industry. CNG, or compressed natural gas, is a fuel source alternative to diesel and petrol. CNG conversion systems are also used in bi-fuel vehicles. These bi-fuel systems use gasoline or diesel in one tank, and CNG in the other. The fuel sources can be switched between the two, either automatically or manually.
To the consumer, CNG provides the advantage of increasing the lifespan of lubricating oils due to its ability to not contaminate or dilute the crankcase oil, lower fuel costs and reduced maintenance.
The cylinders that are used in CNG conversions are made with high quality materials including Type III Aluminum American Made composite. The systems come with warranties including a 4 year 100 000 mile workmanship warranty, 15 year tank warranty and a lifetime warranty on tanks, fittings and brackets.
