Bibliotastic.com Romance Author Lands Book Deal
One of bibliotastic’s most popular authors has just landed a book deal with a commercial publisher. A light at the end of the tunnel for indie authors everywhere.
St. Louis, MO, August 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- One of bibliotastic’s most popular authors, Heather Huffman, has just been signed by a commercial publisher. Seattle-based Booktrope will be republishing her existing four novels (Throwaway, Ties That Bind, Jailbird and Suddenly a Spy) under their imprint as well as a fifth book, Ring of Fire, due out by year end.
“I had a lot of reasons for going indie with my books a year ago. It’s been an amazing journey and I’ve learned a lot,” writes Heather. “I would like to say a big thank you in particular to bibliotastic.com which has written some great reviews of my books and collected a lot of valuable reader feedback and comments.”
Heather’s new publisher Booktrope aims to be a new concept in publishing that combines what’s working in the publishing industry with what the indie authors are doing well to create a new model called ‘team publishing.’ To learn more visit www.booktropepublishing.com
“Heather’s romance novels received great feedback from our users and our editors gave them rave reviews too,” notes bibliotastic.com co-founder Bernard Gerard. “While it is a shame we will no longer be hosting her work on our website we are delighted that Heather has been selected by a commercial publisher and we wish her all the best under her new imprint.”
