TechNet Tampa 2007 will focus on “Investing in Coalition and Interagency Partnership: Meeting the Next Threat.” At TechNet Tampa, Crystal Group will be demonstrating and displaying several rugged computing options. The newest addition to the Crystal Group server family and best in class RS line, the RS235 will be the featured product at booth #310.
In environments where performance, ruggedness, and reliability are imperative, the RS235 server is an ideal fit. This 2U server was designed for shipboard, airborne, and land-based applications. The RS235 offers extended capability with shock/vibe rating of 6 GRMS in combined wheeled vehicle and aircraft profiles, a temperature range of –20 oC up to 60oC (-4 to140oF) and multiple power options. The RS235 is designed and being tested to meet MIL-STDs 810F, 167-1, 461E, and 901D requirements. The RS235 is available with the following processor options: Intel® Core(TM) 2 Duo, Dual Core Intel® Xeon® and AMD Opteron(TM). Expansion choices in this short depth (20 inches) server include one PCIe slot with two PCI slots or two PCI-X slots with one PCI slot, meaning greater adaptability. Up to five drives and a slimline CD/DVD are available. As always, each Crystal server comes with a standard three-year warranty.
