The CBL Exam serves to create a consistent distinguishing measure of business skills and knowledge across all entry level job candidates, as GPAs, majors, degrees and experience vary widely across geographies and campuses. At the same time, it allows employers to quickly filter and rank candidates, saving them time and money in the recruiting process. The CBL Exam, which is being offered at an introductory price of $250, is open for registration on www.thebusinesstest.com. The exam covers five key business areas: financial proficiency, basic accounting, general marketing, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and business writing.
Top scorers of the exam will receive free one-on-one mentoring sessions from Fortune 500 managers, have their resume sent to 80,000 recruiters around the country and be able to illustrate to employers their relative strength as compared to other applicants and peers across the country. Top scorers also are offered a full refund if they do not secure employment within six months of taking the exam or graduating college. Textbooks and practice assessments are available are free on the website.
