Enterprising Women Names New Member to Advisory Board
Elise Mitchell Added as Board Member
Raleigh, NC, August 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Monica Smiley, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women magazine (http://www.enterprisingwomen.com), has named Elise Mitchell as a member of the Enterprising Women Advisory Board. Mitchell is the president and CEO of Mitchell Communications Group, Inc., a strategic communications firm in Fayetteville, Ark. Mitchell Communications Group was recently named the 2011 PRWeek Small PR Agency of the Year and one of the Women Presidents’ Organization’s 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned/Led Companies in North America. With Mitchell’s guidance, the firm has tripled in growth and revenue since 2008.
Mitchell was previously director of corporate communications for Promus Hotel Corporation, vice president of public relations for Sossaman, Bateman, McCuddy, and assistant director of public relations for Walker & Associates. Active in her community, Mitchell is involved with the Public Relations Society of America, Women Impacting Public Policy, the Women Presidents’ Organization and other organizations. She received a master’s degree in public relations from the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tenn. and a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. She is also a graduate of executive education training at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. and Harvard Business School in Boston, Mass. Mitchell and her husband live in Fayetteville, Ark. with their teenagers Mackenzie and Jackson.
