Dr. Leigh-Davis Wears Many Hats, But is Looking Forward to Taking the Helm at Confidence Magazine
In addition to being a law professor and hosting a weekly radio show, Dr. Leigh-Davis is to be editor-in-chief of Confidence Magazine.
Los Angeles, CA, August 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- “As a law professor, I am always researching and writing, so it is really just a continuation of what I do best,” responded Dr. Leigh-Davis to questions about her being named editor-in-chief of the revamped Confidence Magazine. In fact, Dr. Leigh-Davis was the former editor-in-chief of Malibu Magazine, so she knows a thing or two about heading a magazine.
“Fashion is what I am looking forward to,” said Dr. Leigh-Davis. “As a full time law professor, I have missed fashion,” she continued. Confidence Magazine actually began its renovation last year, but owner disputes, lawsuits, and breached distribution contracts, made it seem as if Confidence Magazine would go out of business. Fortunately, new publishers and a new distribution deal were right around the corner, and Confidence Magazine is getting set to take off again.
Unlike its competitors, Vanity Fair and Esquire, Confidence Magazine will continue to be based in Los Angeles, California. “Although we are on the west coast, we will have contributing writers from all over the world, with a second office in London, England,” explains Dr. Leigh-Davis. Dr. Leigh-Davis hopes to finally give both Vanity Fair and Esquire a run for their money, when Confidence Magazine increases its worldwide presence, with international distribution deals.
