Altitude Announced as a Finalist for Business Ethics Award
Altitude Marketing is a finalist for the Societas Award. The Award is designed to show how real companies incorporate ethical standards and best practices throughout their business model.
Emmaus, PA, August 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Forum for Ethics in the Workplace announced Altitude Marketing as a finalist for the first annual Societas Award for Responsible Corporate Conduct.
The Societas Award is designed to show how real companies incorporate ethical standards and best practices throughout their business model. To be considered for the award, applicants submitted a detailed application package that addresses recognized elements of ethical business practices such as formal codes of conduct, compliance with both the letter and spirit of the law, accountability at all levels of the organization, and good corporate citizenship.
The winner of the competition will be revealed and presented with an award on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at DeSales University in Center Valley at the 7:00 a.m. breakfast. Altitude is a finalist along with local businesses, ATMOS, Inc.; Lafayette Ambassador Bank and Prudential Patt, White Real Estate.
“The four finalist’s prepared impressive applications that clearly met the criteria for eligibility,” said Kevin Flemming, chair of the award committee. “The board of directors [of the Forum for Ethics in the Workplace] is very enthusiastic with the response we received in the first year of the program.”
He explained that the Forum breakfast on September 8 and will include a presentation featuring segments from each company’s application. Students from the Business Department of DeSales will participate in the presentation as well.
