The new product line will be inaugurated August 13th, 2011 on Totsy.com. It will feature fine art photographer Hal Brandes, a San Francisco Bay Area based photographer whose love of photographic images started as a young man living in Brooklyn, New York. He made his way to Illinois where he taught photography and filmmaking, then to Los Angeles where he worked in the film industry. Eventually he moved his family to Mill Valley, California and continued his photographic observations on subjects ranging from the iconic architecture of San Francisco to the mundane structures of surrounding areas, always uncovering the richness of his subjects that others could not always see.
In addition to the use of original art, the new line is made entirely in the U.S. to the highest quality standards and printed with eco-friendly inks. The pillows are 100% cotton filled with feather and down, while each wall art is signed by the artist and mounted on a wood frame ready for hanging.
