Surratt, owner and President of Legacy Family Office in Estero, was recently elected vice-chairman of Edison State College Foundation’s board of directors. Ms. Surratt, a seasoned wealth advisor, has previously served two terms as the foundation’s Treasurer and Finance Committee chair, most recently from 2010 to 2011.

The non-profit Edison State College Foundation attracts and manages contributions from individuals, organizations, businesses and private foundations to promote higher education in the five-county region served by Edison State College. The foundation supports student scholarships, academic programs, and technology and facility improvements.

Surratt works with high-net worth clients throughout Southwest Florida to develop philanthropic, business and investment strategies. Her experience includes trust, fiduciary investment management and private client services.

Surratt earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Florida Gulf Coast University, graduating with honors with a master’s in business administration. She also serves on the Southwest Florida Community Foundation’s scholarship committee and is a member of the Women’s Legacy Fund.
