CBT College to Donate Fully Supplied Backpacks for Children in Need Throughout the Greater-Miami Area, August 18 & 20th 2011
Miami, FL, August 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- CBT College, an academic institution based in Miami, Florida operating five campuses throughout the greater Miami-Dade area, announces that it will be donating over 1000 backpacks filled with supplies to children in need to the communities where CBT College campuses are located. The back packs will include; three-ring binders, composition books, folders, dividers, paper and pencil pouches with pencils, pens, erasers, highlighters, sharpeners, and glue sticks, etc.
Donations will take place at four of the school’s campuses located in various Miami neighborhoods during their Community Appreciation Open House event (until supplies last). There will be food, drinks, music, raffles, medical screenings, and plenty of fun activities for parents and kids.
The Open House events will be held on:
August 18, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at:
· West Kendall – 8765 S.W. 165th Avenue (At the Lucky Start Plaza across from BJs)
· Flagler – 8230 W. Flagler Street
August 18, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at:
· Hialeah – 935 W. 49th Street
August 20, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at:
· Cutler Bay – 935 W. 49th Street
“This event will serve as a way for us to open our doors to the communities we are a part of, while helping the families that are in need in the Greater-Miami area, say Luis Llerena, Executive Director of CBT College. “It’s back to school time and kids need clothing and supplies, so we wanted to make sure to take this opportunity to give back in a way that really counts and have them enjoy the festivities before school starts again.”
