Dr. Valeria C. Benavides Lopez Joins The Children’s Hospital of Illinois

Chicago, IL, August 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Children’s Hospital of Illinois, a leading pediatric clinical care and research hospital, today announced that Valeria C. Benavides Lopez, MD, MPH will join its’ Pediatric Endocrinology Division at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois and the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.

Dr. Benavides Lopez attended medical school at the University of San Andres in La Paz, Bolivia and received her Masters of Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston. She completed her pediatric residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, NY and completed a Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.

She is also board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology.
