CMUS Talk of the Town Awards Announce Outstanding Mid-year Results
With more than 250,000 businesses reviewed and rated so far this year, the Talk of the Town Awards announce mid-year results and reconfirm the commitment to recognizing businesses with outstanding customer service.
Farmington Hills, MI, August 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- In a recent mid-year report to Customer Care News magazine, Talk of the Town News and Celebration Media U.S. (sponsors of the CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Awards) announced that more than 250,000 companies have been reviewed since the beginning of the year, and all companies earning a 4-star to 5-star rating have been awarded the CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award.
This mid-year report reflects the ongoing commitment that Talk of the Town News and CMUS have to researching and identifying companies that are striving to achieve excellence in customer care, and recognizing those actions. The Talk of the Town awards honor companies and professionals that provide excellent customer service as reported by their customers through no-cost, user-review websites, blogs, social networks, business rating services, and other honors and accolades. This data is analyzed by a team of researchers and converted into a star rating. Researchers have been cross-referencing relevant customer reviews on a host of sites. Another 200,000 companies will be reviewed by the end of 2011.
Many of those companies that have already been recognized (some for the second or third year in a row) are pleased with their award status and appreciate the feedback. “We at King Car Wash take special pride in our ‘customer satisfaction award’ status because it measures an intangible asset,” says Frank Trilla of King Car Wash in Westmont, Ill. “Our reputation for great customer service took years to establish, and Talk of the Town has been a great resource to let people know we care. We just received an international award for ‘Environmental Leadership’ in Las Vegas last month. That was great, but would be meaningless without satisfied customers. Thanks for monitoring our customer feedback!”
Award winners have also acknowledged the benefit to their businesses, as well as consumers, in earning the customer satisfaction award. Julie Kimball of Katie’s Homemade Ice Cream in Hyannis, Mass., says, “The Talk of the Town award tells us at Katie's how well we are doing for our customers. To us, our customers are number one, and we want to make sure we are meeting their needs. This also allows us to market our business, keep ahead of our competitors and give our staff positive feedback. All in all, this award has been beneficial in allowing us to better serve our customers and fulfill their needs.”
“Talk of the Town is a respected company known for rating and recognizing industry leaders,” says Sam Green of Stephen Lim, DDS & Associates in New York, N.Y. “Because Talk of the Town tracks customer satisfaction from reviews and star ratings, consumers can depend on Talk of the Town award recipients to provide excellent products and services.”
Additional statistics from the mid-year report will be released in the fall edition of Customer Care News, set to be published October 1, 2011. To see all companies that have won the Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award to date, use the search engine at www.talkofthetownnews.com.
