Shiekh Shoes Presents GUAP Heart’s 3rd Annual Back-to-School Charity Giveaway
Giveaways Include School Supplies
Sacramento, CA, August 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Shiekh Shoes has announced their partnership with GUAP Magazine to host a community event supporting the Florin and Oak Park communities of Sacramento, CA. Shiekh Shoes and GUAP Heart will invite over 150 families in need with over 300 kids to attend a day of fun, entertainment, and giveaways.
The community event will feature guest speakers, performances by local artists and dance crews as live entertainment. A series of stations will be set up around the event, which will include both group and individual games. Additional stations will also feature face painting, balloon animals and a petting zoo with live animals. Pizza, soda, and ice cream will provided and most importantly, hundreds of giveaways for back-to-school will be handed out.
Shiekh Shoes and GUAP Heart are asking brand reps and companies to donate school supplies (pens, notebooks, pencils, backpacks, crayons, markers, highlighters, folders, etc.), footwear, apparel, and/or funds so that enough school supplies may be purchased for all who attend the event and are in need. Shiekh Shoes and GUAP hope to collaborate with enough sponsors and participants who are able to commit to making back-to-school season a little brighter for these families.
The event will take place at Shops at Florin shopping center on Sunday, August 21st, 2011 from 2pm – 4pm – 7215 Stockton Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95823
