Dance Celebration!: A Free Public Event on Sunday, September 18 to Acknowledge the Talent in Baltimore and Celebrate the Strength and Diversity of the Dance Community
On Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 2-5pm, Full Circle Dance Company will host their 2nd annual Dance Celebration! which will feature several local dance artists, a silent auction, and open level dance classes. The event is free and open to the public. Dance Celebration! will kick-off the company's 11th season and premiere of their upcoming concert, B.A.R.E: Bodies, Attitudes, Reflections, Exposed, a project on Body Image.

Full circle dance company hosts it’s 2nd annual dance celebration, a free public event on Sunday, September 18 to acknowledge the talent in Baltimore and celebrate the strength and diversity of the dance community.
On Sunday September 18, Full Circle Dance Company will host it’s 2nd Annual Dance Celebration! from 2-5pm at their residence, Morton Street Dance Center, Inc. This free public event will feature ongoing dance performers, a Silent Auction, and other group movement activities.
Dance Celebration! will bring together local dance artists and companies who will present a variety of work, both completed and in progress. Participation and feedback from the local community will be encouraged, so as to build stronger relationships between the dancers and their audiences. Dance Celebration! will also include an ongoing Silent Auction, with goods and services contributed from local restaurants, corporations, arts organizations, and several Baltimore icons.
Full Circle Dance Company’s Dance Celebration! is the company’s way of showing their pride in having served the Baltimore metropolitan region with exciting, emotionally engaging, and thought-provoking choreography for the past decade. Full Circle Dance Company continues to flourish artistically and
choreographically in response to social and cultural changes within community. It is the company’s hope that Dance Celebration! will invoke creative inspiration among event participants.
Dance Celebration! will be held at the Morton Street Dance Center, Inc., one of Baltimore’s most comprehensive dance schools. Participating artists and companies will have information, as well as their art, to share with event attendees. Community members of all ages are welcome to attend, as there will be interactive dance-related activities and concessions available throughout the event.
