Growlers Pour House Turns One
August 24th marks the first Anniversary of restaurant/bar newcomer Growlers Pour House – Celebrations to Ensue.
Charlotte, NC, August 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Growlers Pour House – voted in the Top 100 Best Beer Bars by Draft Magazine – is celebrating its First Birthday August 24th.
After a year of getting settled on the corner spot of N. Davidson and 35th Street, Growlers has become a favorite neighborhood destination. Often housing local bands, DJs, and community education programs with topics on beer and “beer food,” Growlers is a welcomed addition to the little artsy neighborhood of NoDa.
On the 24th, Growlers is offering select $1 beers in celebration of their one-year anniversary, and free bar bites – with music from Jordan Klemmons starting up at 8pm.
“We’ve enjoyed being a part of this neighborhood,” says owner, Jeff Tonidandel, “It’s like no other place in Charlotte. It’s got a wide range of people from artists and hippies to yuppies and tourists, and we’re just glad we can be a part of it all.” Proud of it’s all-American rotating craft beer selection and “beer food”, Growlers recently was voted “Best Hot Dogs in Charlotte” from Creative Loafing.
