LRM Foundation Holds First Annual Texas Hold'em Tournament

Coventry, CT, April 04, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Linda R. Martin Foundation will hold its First Annual Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament to raise money for research to cure debilitating diseases.

Who: The Linda R. Martin Foundation will be the host.

What: Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament

When: June 29, 2007 at 6:30pm

Where: Knights of Columbus Lodge, 138 Snake Hill Road, Coventry CT

Why: All proceeds from the event will go directly to instructions searching for a cure to cancer, heart, and disease.

The top 14 prizes will include a 32” Plasma Television, Video iPod, 15” Plasma Television, iPod Nano, Digital Camera and many more.

About the Linda R. Martin Foundation:
The Linda R. Martin Foundation was founded in memory of Linda Martin who was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and mother. Linda tragically passed away on January 6th 2004 at the young age of 45. In Linda’s short life, she did as much for others as she did for her own family. Whether it was sponsoring a child in a third world country or volunteering at the local soup kitchen. Her motherly attributes were felt by all who came to know her; even in her death Linda gave to others by providing her organs for those in need.
