Published Novelist Helps Would-be Writers Just Write
Six-time novelist Dwan Abrams promises to help would-be writers to “just write” in her hands-on, national “Just Write!” Workshop.
Atlanta, GA, August 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Six-time novelist Dwan Abrams promises to help would-be writers to “just write” in her hands-on, national “Just Write!” Workshop.
“So many times, I meet people who dream of being writers, or even talk about writing, but few are actually just writing and being successful at it,” says Abrams, who is signed to Urban Books/Kensington and is the editorial director of Nevaeh Publishing Company which includes 13 authors on its roster.
As a part of her mission to help writers just write, Abrams is traveling to several locations including Jackson, MS, Huntsville, AL, and Atlanta, GA. Her first stop will be in Charlotte where Abrams is hosting her "Just Write!" Workshop at Red@28th (formerly RealEyes Bookstore), 2424 N. Davidson Street, Suite 112 on September 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Through the four-hour workshop, Abrams reveals her experiences in aiding aspiring writers and even published authors successfully navigate their way through the world of writing and publishing, offering her expertise on writing, self-editing, publishing, and marketing and promoting. The cost of the workshop is $65.
Although Abrams is signed to a major New York publishing house, she has self-published her work and been published by a small press publisher. Abrams has also been a featured author and panelist at several conferences, including the National Book Club Conference, Black Writers Reunion and Conference, Bayou Soul Writers Conference, Faith and Fiction Retreat, and Dancing Preachers International Conference.
“I don’t mind sharing all of my experiences as a writer, publisher, and speaker to help others achieve their dreams.”
