Sowells Makes Impressive Kennedy Gallery Splash: Multi-Faceted Artist Exhibits Bold Work for August Solo Show

Dallas, TX, August 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Janette Kennedy Gallery hosts a one-man show featuring vibrant works by artist Frank Sowells, Jr. He is the founder of Art View Creations, and his contemporary cubist, abstract and figurative works draw the viewer with his masterful creativity. Entitled “Perspectives,” the exhibit reflects the diversity of his body of work. Flowing among media, styles, and subject matter challenges his originality of thought and keeps his work fresh and exciting. “I refuse to be put in a box creatively,” Frank says. “My gift is too big to be limited to one art style.”

A graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas and former freelance court illustrator, Frank frequently travels for exhibits in cities such as Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Miami and Washington, D.C. He enjoys supporting non-profits including the United Negro College Fund, Paul Quinn College, the African American Museum of Dallas, the Everson Walls & Ron Springs Gift for Life Foundation, and the Greater Houston Partnership through various art events.
