14th Annual IT Executive of the Year Awards to be Presented at Innotech Austin by the Austin Professional Chapter of AITP

Austin, TX, August 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Celebrating Austin’s IT Executives:

Nominations now are being accepted for the 14th annual IT Executive of the Year Awards, which will be presented October 20 at InnoTech Austin by the Austin Professional Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP). The awards program recognizes the innovations and accomplishments of the city’s most outstanding CIOs.

October 7 is the deadline to submit nominations at www.aitpaustin.com for the IT Executive of the Year Awards (corporate and public sectors). An ideal candidate would be an executive who has led a large transformation or trimmed IT costs without laying off workers. Another would be one who has revamped IT practices to comply with major regulation changes, such as those seen in the healthcare industry. In addition to accolades for the two IT Executives of the Year, technology leaders can receive recognition for their contributions through the Information Technologist of the Year Award and IT Solution of the Year Award.
