The Bridgewater BookFest is Returning to Beaver County for 2011 to be Held Saturday, September 10th

Bridgewater BookFest, Beaver County’s only outdoor literary festival, is set to return this summer on Saturday, September 10, 10:00am - 3:00pm after a one-year hiatus.

Bridgewater, PA, August 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Bridgewater Book Fest is a festival of books that offers entertainment and programming for all ages with free admission for everyone. The goal of the Bridgewater Book Fest is to bring together writers and readers and to promote and celebrate books, reading and literacy. BookFest will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on historic Bridge Street in Bridgewater and will feature a number of literary-themed events and activities for all ages.

Among the authors featured this year will be Dave Crawely from KDKA-TV, Kathy Otten, Maria Farina, Carrie Kennedy, Patrick O'Shea, Frank Say, Paul LaViolette, Georgette Noullet, Carole Waterhouse, Cheryll Chakrabarti, Larry Ivkovich, Theresa DeCaria, Dee McKay, Chip Hill, Robert Bentz.

The BookFest will also feature two drawings for Amazon Kindle e-readers, one donated by Beaver Valley Federal Credit Union in Bridgewater, and one by Diane and Jack Manning.

Bridgewater BookFest is a non-profit event backed by the Bridgewater Community Development Corporation. There is no charge for admission.
