With a commitment to stay on the leading edge of employee benefits and services, benefitsCONNECT® is partnering with HWI to provide wellnessCONNECT, a best-in-class multi-channel wellness solution.. Employers will connect to a self-contained wellness module that houses their purchased options through a single sign-on process on the benefitsCONNECT® enrollment portal. wellnessCONNECT is designed to work as a cohesive unit that complements the employer’s entire portfolio of care management services, such as case and disease management and Employee Assistance Programs. This new solution is designed to achieve the following objectives:
Assess Risk – An assessment of risk is the first step toward developing a targeted, comprehensive wellness strategy. Upon completion of HWI’s Personal Health Assessment (PHA), participants receive an individualized report that provides a summary of their health risks and immediately directs them to the appropriate resources to help mitigate these risks.
Drive Engagement – wellnessCONNECT offers employers/employees a simple yet powerful way to track their activities by guiding each participant through pre-defined requirements for their wellness initiative. The platform uses a risk-based protocol from the PHA to recommend activities, such as a viewing a smoking cessation or stress management video in the wellness portal.
Sustain Behaviors – The lack of cohesion inherent with à la carte offerings allows participants to fall through the cracks. wellnessCONNECT provides an integrated package that provides ongoing support and reevaluates data collected with each assessment campaign to direct participants to relevant programs and services. wellnessCONNECT’s responsiveness to change and accessible presence ensures that participants stay engaged in the most suitable health interventions.
