Palomar Starlight Theater Shines a Light on Music of Stevie Nicks Performed by Bella Donna and Steely Dan Performed by Pretzel Logic
Labor Day Weekend Event Closes Out Summer Tribute Series at Pala Casino and Resort
San Diego, CA, August 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Just over the hill from the sprawling community of Temecula California, lies a bucolic valley dotted with oaks and pastoral long views. Pala Casino Spa & Resort lies in the heart of this still pristine area and will continue to celebrate it's 10th anniversary with special shows and events.
On Labor Day weekend, the traditional end of summer, Pala will wrap up its outdoor Tribute Concert Series in the open air Palomar Starlight Theater.
Featuring Southern California's top tribute artists, Pala closes the outdoor series in big style with Bella Donna - a tribute to Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac and Pretzel Logic, the 11-piece salute to Steely Dan.
Bella Donna performs the best of Nicks and Fleetwood Mac in an eight-piece, high energy, "hits" driven production. Singer, Michelle Tyler won the praise of the real Ms. Nicks recently after she heard a Bella Donna show.
The complex and jazz rock sensibilities of Steely Dan come to life as performed by Pretzel Logic. The band is known for their authentic reproductions of the multi platinum band's hits.
Director of entertainment for Pala Casino, David Swift commented, "We have a huge commitment to quality tribute bands– We have been presenting them for years every Saturday night in our Infinity lounge free of charge to our guests and have a full schedule in September. It has been very popular. As an extension of that, our free outdoor concert series, putting two top tribute acts together outdoors has been very successful and fun night for everyone."
The free event will open for first come seating on the lawn at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 7p.m. No lawn chairs or coolers will be allowed in the venue, and there is a strict 21 and over policy.
