Teachers Certify for Free in September at Community Business College
It’s back to school time and Community Business College is offering free industry-based certification vouchers to teachers.
Modesto, CA, August 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Community Business College announces that it is now offering free industry exam vouchers to teachers to celebrate the "back to school" season. The school is offering vouchers to teachers to take any of the following official certification exams offered by Community Business College:
These vouchers include practice exams and additional materials to help interested exam takers prepare for the exams.
Vouchers must be redeemed at an authorized testing center like Community Business College. For those who would like to redeem their vouchers and take the exams at Community Business College, the school has waived its usual proctoring fee for participants of this program.
Microsoft Office Specialist
Quickbooks Certified User
Internet and Computing Core Certification
Adobe Certified Associate
Autodesk Certified User
CompTIA Strata Fundamentals
Microsoft Technology Associate
These vouchers include practice exams and additional materials to help interested exam takers prepare for the exams.
Vouchers must be redeemed at an authorized testing center like Community Business College. For those who would like to redeem their vouchers and take the exams at Community Business College under this program, the school has waived its regular proctoring fee for participants of this program. That means that the exams, practice exams and actual tests will be at no out of pocket expenses to teachers.
School Director Dan Guerra said the school chose to offer this program because, “it’s an excellent way for teachers to get certified and to know what materials are expected on industry certification exams their students may take. In these trying economic times, teachers need all the help we can give them.”
To request a voucher teachers should visit http://www.communitybusinesscollege.edu/teachers.htm and follow the instructions provided. The deadline to submit requests is August 31, 2011. Exam vouchers expire on September 30, 2011 and must be redeemed before then. Although teachers can choose to redeem their vouchers at the Community Business College Modesto testing center, the exam vouchers are valid at any testing center throughout the country. Testing centers may or may not waive proctoring fees and teachers are encouraged to check with the testing center about its policies before taking the exam.

Enrichment courses include international language classes, classroom computing and tools for teachers. The college also provides affordable short-term training courses for unemployed students. California students who are receiving unemployment insurance benefits may be able to receive a California Training Benefits extension while they complete the training.
