Gail M. Reid Takes Launch! Program to Emory University

Alpharetta, GA, August 31, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Startup Coach and Business Launcher Gail M. Reid joins Emory University to educate Atlanta’s eager entrepreneurs. The course guides students from their concept to their first customer. Reid is a CPA and small business consultant. She started her own home–based CPA firm 1987 and built it into a thriving practice which she sold for top dollar in 2008. Reid is the author of “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Low-Cost Startups” (Penguin, 2010).

This fall she unveils her hands-on workshop, Launch! Your Startup Now on the Alpharetta campus of Emory University. The series is perfect for anyone who would love to go to college and study Entrepreneurship but doesn’t have the time – Launch! is a mini MBA program packed into 8 intensive weeks.

In 8 sessions, this program educates students about entrepreneurship by coaching them through the startup phase to the actual launch of their small business. The program is broken down into specific modules, each covering a critical component of a simple business plan: Crafting a viable Vision, researching the competition, identifying your place in the market and prospective customers, putting together the details of your business model, developing your marketing plan, and putting all the numbers together to create the financial projections that will guide you to success. Students pursuing funding will have an airtight business plan they can be proud to share with potential lenders and investors.
