Get Social with Shakey's Pizza Parlor in Hollywood
Shakey’s Gets Social as it joins forces with A Rockin Ice to Support Children of the Night.
Alhambra, CA, August 31, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On August 31st, 2011 Shakey’s USA will host their first social media inspired event, Get Social with Shakey’s, at their Hollywood, CA location between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Shakey’s will be joining forces with A Rockin Ice for a fun filled event to raise money to benefit local charity, Children of the Night.
Shakey’s will be using “social” as the focus of the evening by encouraging their guests to be social both on and offline and to tweet, update Facebook statuses, and check in on Foursquare. Starting at 6 p.m. guests can enjoy Shakey’s famous thin crust pizza, chicken, and Mojo® potatoes, all for a good cause. At 7 p.m. A Rockin Ice will join them in the parking lot for some delicious shave ice, the perfect end to a hot Hollywood day. Use this as a networking opportunity to meet other social media inclined people or just bring your friends and family for a fun summer treat.
Both Shakey’s and A Rockin Ice will be donating 25% of the night’s proceeds to Children of the Night. In addition to the monetary donation, Shakey’s will also be collecting donations that evening. Drop off items valued at $5 or higher and receive a Shakey’s coupon for $5 off a large meal deal good starting September 1st.
