Kyocera Mita and ThinPrint Seal Partnership Deal
Kyocera Mita integrates ThinPrint print data compression and bandwidth control technology into its hardware.
Berlin, Germany, April 05, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The office document solutions provider Kyocera Mita, and the market leader in print solutions for distributed networks, ThinPrint, has announced the beginning of a partnership. The integration of ThinPrint technology in Kyocera Mita hardware – beginning with the network card IB23 – will allow Kyocera Mita customers to benefit from ThinPrint’s print management solution .print, directly and quickly without other hardware solutions. The network card IB23 can be integrated into Kyocera devices currently on the market. Companies that can fit their network printers in other locations with the card and use ThinPrint’s print engine on their server, can compress print data to up to 10 percent of its original size. This not only significantly reduces the system load, but also speeds up the printing process, because the data can be transferred 9 times faster. ThinPrint technology for connection orientated bandwidth control also prevents bottlenecks in the line during print data transmission, thus securing the network connection of employees in other locations.
The standard network card IB23, which comes equipped with the .print client, is now available from all authorised Kyocera dealers. The exclusive application of .print compatible Kyocera Mita hardware means that there’s no need to install the .print client on user devices such as PCs and terminals.
