CT Artist SeeS (S Double E S) Starts New Record Label, CT Corporate Takeover, and Launches New Website, www.SeeSHipHop.com
CT local artist SeeS (S Double E S) defines passion and grind by starting his own record label and website to “SeeS Control” of the music industry.
Hartford, CT, September 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Chances are you have never heard about SeeS (S Double E S), but that is about the change, and make no mistakes that is a positive thing for Hip Hop. CT’s own local artist Scott Sheldon, known by stage name SeeS, is beginning to make moves in the music industry and has begun to welcome the much overdue support that his talent warrants.
In the past two years SeeS has been able to accomplish an amazing amount for an unknown and unsigned artist, and because of this work that will soon change.
In the last two years SeeS has started his own record label to promote himself, CT Corporate Takeover, collaborated with Cappadonna and Inspectah Deck from Wu-Tang as well as multiple platinum producers, created an official EP “SeeS Control,” secured a distribution deal with Bungalo/Universal Music Group for two of the singles, produced a top notch music video for his single “Mad At Me” (Feat. Diana Fuentes), produced two commercials for Mega Education that aired on Comcast in CT, completed interviews and got air play on Hot 93.7 the #1 Hip Hop station in CT, and managed to design and manage a fully functional website, www.seeshiphop.com, where all of these accomplishments can be seen and heard.
A true prodigy, SeeS has been writing and performing Hip-Hop songs since the age of 13 (now 25). SeeS was raised in the affluent suburbs of Hartford, CT, not exactly a "hotbed" for Hip-Hop music. But this ironic environment simply serves to underscore his phenomenal natural talent. In the mid-90’s while Hip-Hop’s wave of popularity was exploding worldwide, SeeS, a young adopted teen living in privileged suburbia, struggled mightily with identity, individuality and sense of purpose. Hip-Hop culture captivated him. He loved it. It offered him an outlet and the freedom to express himself without limits.
