Sensory 3 Restaurant Wins Accolades
The Sensory 3 steakhouse and lounge in Erie, Pa, won the hearts and stomachs of the community at the annual 'Taste of Erie' event.
Erie, PA, September 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Presque Isle Downs & Casino’s ultra-hip restaurant and lounge, aptly named Sensory 3, won the 2011 ERIEsistible Entrée award Aug. 21,2011.
The winner of the award received a thousand dollar prize, a trophy recognizing their success, and bragging rights to the best dish in town. The annual Taste of Erie event was judged by popular vote.
“Winning this award is wonderful,” said Joey Marshall, Sensory 3 manager, “We love serving the local Erie community and we appreciate their support.”
Formerly known as La Bonne Vie, the Sensory 3 venue has reinvented itself as Erie’s premiere steakhouse and cocktail lounge… with a twist.
The new menu is eclectic and features alluring dishes such as shark tacos, lobster mac n’ cheese and a 24oz bone-in Ribeye. But for all its sophistication and glamour the venue still maintains ties to its roots. “We want to remind everyone that Sensory 3 is not much different then what it was when we were doing business as La Bonne Vie,” said Marshall. “And that we're still serving a lot of the same amazing food and providing the same top-notch service as before.”
The new Sensory 3 slogan, “We Got Steak!” is an up-cycling of the La Bonne Vie reputation as a renowned steakhouse. It’s all about the meat.
Visitors to the Taste of Erie’s – Sensory 3 tent got to enjoy Filet Mignon, NY Strip, chilled jumbo shrimp with Remoulade sauce, heirloom baby potatoes and mushrooms skewers for nine dollars. There was also crumbled Blue Cheese served on the plate and a drizzle of demi-glaze over the steak.
