In order to help adults deal with the fears and grief suffered by children they will feature a Teleconference entitled Helping Children Cope With Death brought to you by the Teleconference founder, Ms. K. Andrews of Boston. This is one course in an Educational Series, sponsored by Ms. Andrews. It is anticipated that with the completion of Ms. Andrews’ Teleconference you will have better skills to help your child cope with this difficult life transition. Parents who are coping with an impending loss, or who have already suffered a loss of a family member, are encouraged to reserve their space now.

On April 10th, Helping Children Cope with DeathTeleconference will be an information packed hour with words to help prepare children and skills to help them deal with their grief. If you struggle how to handle this transition with your children, you will benefit from Ms. Andrews expertise in working with both children and death and dying. She will give you information on how to handle telling a child about a difficult diagnosis and how to prepare them for the potential loss as well as how to help them grief.

Ms. Andrews holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and in Gerontology. Her Thesis was in Death, Dying & The Grieving Process. Over the last 30 years she has led numerous support groups relative to grieving. Included in these groups is a Compassionate Friends group for bereaved parents, a child’s support group on the loss of a sibling, Hospice Support for family members, Widows Support Group Caregiver’s Support Group, and an Early Stage Alzheimer’s Support Group. In addition she has taught psychology classes at several colleges. As founder of TeleSeminars for Successful Living program she has developed a series of seminars to help others learn new coping skills. She, and others, offer both private and group sessions along with Teleconferences and audiotapes.
