Action Party of Morton Grove Announces 5th Annual Golf Outing
The "Jack O'Brien Memorial Golf Outing and Dinner" which is named for one of the Action Party of Morton Grove's founders - will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2011.
Morton Grove, IL, September 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- On Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the Mt. Prospect Golf Club, the 5th Annual Jack O'Brien Memorial Golf Outing and Dinner will take place starting at 10:30am using a scramble format. The golf course is conveniently located at 600 South See-Gwun Avenue in Mt. Prospect, IL (just north of Golf Road-call their Pro Shop at 847-259-4200 for course information and directions).
The dinner will begin about 5pm after all the golfers have completed their rounds and will include a sumptuous catered buffet and raffle with great prizes along with the opportunity to mingle with many in Morton Grove.
Named to recognize and celebrate the life and achievements of long time Morton Grove volunteer, Jack O'Brien was a founder of Morton Grove's Action Party (www.actionparty.org) and long-time village electrical inspector whose long career in electrical engineering included installation of the media transmission towers on top of the then Sears Tower (now Willys Tower) in Chicago. A long time golf enthusist, this event was named in his honor.

The price for golf is $100 per person and dinner $30 per person which can be purchased separately. For a golf and dinner combo, the price is just $120 per person. Golf tickets include: greens fee, electric cart and two beverage cart tickets. Every paid ticket and hole sponsor is entered into the raffle.
Hole Sponsors can promote their business or organization for just $125 per hole. Reservations and artwork must be submitted no later than Monday, September 19, 2011. Arwork can be sent via email as a pdf to teresa.cousar@sbcglobal.net or faxed to 847-295-9825 (attn: T. Cousar).

The Action Party was formed with one goal in mind: “To support and maintain effective, honest, open, scandal-free and non-partisan municipal government in the Village of Morton Grove.” The organization continues on to this day with its original mission and actively seeks out positive opportunities that the future holds for all of the village’s residents.
