Telligent Announces New Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Dallas, TX, September 04, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Telligent, a leader in social community software for the enterprise, announced today the appointment of Steve Poncini as the senior vice president of worldwide sales. Poncini will report directly to Telligent CEO Patrick Brandt.

Poncini has been with Telligent since July 2008, serving previously as vice president of international sales, vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and director of international sales. In these roles, Poncini helped to expand Telligent’s international presence. This included helping to expand Telligent’s international business to include offices in both London and Paris. Poncini also helped to expand Telligent’s global footprint by acquiring customers in countries all over the world from England to Germany to South Africa and Australia.

Poncini will transition from the London office to the headquarters in Dallas to be the head of sales worldwide in his new position on the executive management team.

With over ten years of experience in software sales, Poncini is a veteran who has a successful track record worldwide. Prior to joining Telligent, Poncini held management positions at several software companies such as Plumtree Software, Oracle and BEA Systems. Having worked in both the US and Europe, Poncini has a wealth of experience that ranges from building strong customer relationships and partner channels to executing a global sales strategy.
