Urban American Outdoor Host 2nd Annual Urban Outdoor Summit

Kansas City, MO, September 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The casual intimate venue of the Outdoor Summit is designed to promote interactive participation and stimulate open exchange among people from various disciplines. Speakers from across the country will share their knowledge of the “outdoor lifestyle,” while outdoor industry specialist and executives discuss the issues of urban participation, and the many benefits within the industry available to Urbanites throughout the nation. From this collective gathering, Urban American Outdoors hopes to move to a national platform broadening the focus of preservationist to encompass job creation and the vast economic opportunities within the industry. Other objectives of the UAO Outdoor Summit include reconnecting Americans with outdoor spaces; promoting “green living,” along with, sharing conservation and environmental sustainability ideas for our stewardship of earth. UAO also believes it is critical for our children to learn their rightful place in the outdoor arena, have healthy food alternatives provided by the industry, and have positive relatable multimedia images. On Day two of the Summit there will be the 2nd Annual Perspective Awards Luncheon honoring various sportsmen and women for their outstanding achievement in the Outdoor Industry.
