9/11 & Heroes Memorial Event Hosted by the Brotherhood for Sheepdog
The Brotherhood for Sheepdog is running a 9/11 & Heroes Memorial Event during the week of September 11th-18th. This is a nationwide event for people to take the time to recognize & support a noble cause and reflect on being an American.
Virginia Beach, VA, September 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Across the nation people are joining in a nationwide memorial event for America’s Sheepdog. As well as remembering 9/11, the Brotherhood for Sheepdog is honoring the brave American servicemen and one military dog who died in the August 6th helicopter crash in Afganistan.
The vision of the Brotherhood is to establish a nationwide community of Americans who have the sheepdog's back in their critical time of need. This organization supports & raises funds for multiple organizations which promote awareness of the cost of freedom, empower wounded warriors and their families through wellness, therapy, and community, and create positive outlets and events for the public to participate in and show their support.
This memorial event was established to help people connect after the “moment of silence & remembrance,” by enabling them to actively serve their families, communities, and country with an empowering action. Though it's a small way of paying tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, all donations go to the Wounded Warriors, Navy Seal Foundation, & Lone Survivor Foundation.
