Sydney, Australia, September 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Kalmar Antiques are very excited to have recently received a very large shipment of 19 antique clocks from France. They are all magnificent antique French clocks dating from the 1870’s through to the Art Deco era of the 1920’s, and an exciting Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos clock dating from the 1950’s.
15 of the clocks also have their original side garniture which so often goes missing or separated over the years, or damaged, so to be able to obtain 15 antique clock and garniture sets is quite exciting. The 3 from the Art Deco period display wonderful geometric lines, and include such material being used as marble, bronze and even one with copper.
There is a very high grade portico style clock with a compensated mercury pendulum, set on a white marble base, with a gilded lion atop. The standout clock is a truly magnificent antique clock with its garnitures made out of the rich golden yellow colour marble called Gialo Siena with gilded finished including a breathtaking gilded eagle in flight.
All of them have an 8 day time and strike movement, and all of the clocks have been fully serviced and come with a full warranty and guarantee. All of these clocks add to the vast and growing selection of fine quality antique clocks that Kalmar Antiques currently has in stock.
Kalmar Antiques have also increased their range of vintage Rolex watches to having over 60 in store. These include a wonderful example of a very early steel and gold Rolex GMT Master I from 1986, and a classic 1951 Rolex Oyster in stainless steel that is still in superb condition, as well as having 2 lady’s Rolex Yachtmaster watches and a gents Rolex Yachtmaster with the platinum dial and bezel.
A magnificent Rolex that has come in is a wonderful platinum Art Deco Rolex watch from the 1920’s set with over 72 diamonds that total an impressive 3.58 carats.
Other notable watches that Kalmar Antiques have recently acquired is a solid 18ct gold A. Lange & Söhne “Cabaret” watch on the solid gold band with full box and papers included, a few ladies and gents Cartier watches including the ever popular Cartier Santos, 2 highly collectable vintage Breitling watches both from the early 1950’s, and a magnificent 1040’s era gents IWC watch with the famous calibre 87 movement inside.
This is of course adding to the vast range of vintage watches that Kalmar Antiques currently has already in store.
Already gearing up for Christmas, Kalmar Antiques are expecting another exciting shipment of antique jewellery in the next 2 weeks, and are currently working on their annual Christmas catalogue soon to be released.
