Connecticut Real Estate Investors Assn. Announces September 2011 Meeting of Apartment Owners and Mastermind Group
On September 12, 2011 the Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association (CT REIA) will be sponsoring a new Apartment Owners Association (AOACT) and Real Estate Investing Mastermind Group meeting.
West Hartford, CT, September 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Connecticut Real Estate Investors Association, or CT REIA, in association with the Apartment Owners Association Of Connecticut, or AOACT, is announcing the September 2011 meeting of the AOACT. This event will take place on September 12 from 5:45pm to 9:00pm at the Crowe Plaza Hotel, located at 100 Berlin Road in Cromwell, CT. Attendees will receive a copy of Connecticut's best apartment lease and complimentary refreshments.
The Mastermind Group portion of this seminar will take place from 5:45 to 6:45 pm. This portion of the seminar is only open CT REIA coaching students, members with 2 or more buildings, and/or members who have done 5 or more transactions. The purpose of this group is to share thoughts, ideas, opinions and information. When an industry-focused group is created, investors gain the ability to see things not only from their own perspective, but also with the collective group experience they have the ability to see things from new and different perspectives.
The AOACT portion of this seminar will take place from 6:45 to 9:00 pm. Attendees of this seminar will learn: how to better manage investment properties and apartment buildings; how to manage their own properties, tenants and maintenance; how investors can be more hands off; how to hire and use a good property management person or company; the benefits of multifamily properties; how to choose the best tenants; dealing with tenants and handling tenant issues; how to modify your lease and rental application; the new security deposit rule; why they should never have an eviction again; building code before they buy; laws and regulations; and more.
The Apartment Owners Association of Connecticut is an organization that informs and educates apartment owners, property managers, landlords, and real estate investors.
