M/I Homes Selects Tiptu.com to Power Suite of Mobile Apps
M/I Homes, the nation's 15th largest home builder, has selected mobile app platform Tiptu.com to create and power its suite of mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android launching today.
Charlotte, NC, September 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- M/I Homes [NYSE:MHO] today announced a partnership with location and events platform tiptu.com (tiptü) which will power a new suite of mobile Apps for iPhone, Android and iPad launching today. M/I Homes will immediately begin offering exclusive, mobile-only prizes and giveaways ranging from free movie tickets to iPads when mobile members “Check-In” to any M/I Community using the MI Homes iPhone app, an app for iPad or Android.
Promising “something great every time you open the app” M/I Homes and tiptü tailor the mobile experience for Realtors and Consumers individually. Members simply Follow communities in the app creating a stream of events and updates related to those communities and matching their personal profile. “Following a Community is meaningful,” says Landon Massey, CEO of tiptü. “It means that the member likes, or has a client that likes, that Community and that translates into updates they care about.
