Natural and Vegan Products Showcased at This Years Fashion Night Out
Metropolis Soap Company makes its Fashion Night Out debut at Henri Bendel's flagship store.
Brooklyn, NY, September 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Fashion Night Out takes an eco-friendly approach with the first-time exhibition of Metropolis Soap Company at Henri Bendel's. From 3-11pm, Metropolis Soap Company will be displaying their eco-friendly vegan soap and skincare products on the third floor of the iconic flagship Henri Bendel store.
“It's a huge thrill for us to be part of this years Fashion Night Out and to have the opportunity to bring our version of luxury to the shoppers at Henri Bendel,” says Metropolis founder, Megan Finkelstein. “We're honored to be a part of this night and excited to show off our line of natural and vegan skincare.”
Since 2009, Metropolis Soap Company has been the forerunner in natural skincare products in Brooklyn. Their line includes shea butter soaps, herbal bath soaks, aromatherapy oils, and decadent whipped sheas. All of the products are 100% natural and contain no animal by-products. “When I began Metropolis I knew that no matter what we did, we had to stand by a natural and cruelty-free ethos,” says Megan. “So many products use cheap fillers or sulfates, and I couldn't stand by doing that. Our products had to be different....they had to have a higher quality.” All of Metropolis' products are made by hand to ensure these quality standards are met. "We've been making things from scratch since the beginning," says Megan. "It was the only way to guarantee the extra care was taken that needed to make the products truly special."
When Henri Bendel invited the eco-conscious company to join them for this years Fashion Night Out, Megan knew this was a turning point. “It showed us that the bigger New York stores were paying attention, and that they, too, want to be a part of the natural movement.”
