Delaware Poker Championship with $25,000 Guarantee Sept. 10 at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino
Dover, DE, September 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The inaugural Delaware Poker Championship will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Crown Royal Poker Room at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. Registration begins at 8 a.m. A minimum $25,000.00 in prize money is guaranteed, and the winner will receive the coveted 2011 Delaware Poker Champion bracelet.
Players may buy in to the main event for $560 or use earned vouchers to receive 15,000 in chips, an increase of the previously stated 10,000 chips. Games for the main event on Sept. 10 are 30 minute levels. No add-ons or rebuys will be available for the Championship. Payouts are based on a sliding scale percentage.
On Friday, Sept. 9 a single table satellite event will be held 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The buy in is $71 for 1500 chips. One seat will be awarded for each table and games will run at 15 minute levels. The super satellite event at 8 p.m. will have 20 minute level games and the buy in is $75 for 6000 chips. One person in ten will be awarded a seat to the Championship.
